Specimen description: This is an aggregate specimen of Wolframite (tungsten) variety Ferberite. Color of the specimen is brown/black with some luster plus blue, copper colored, and reddish iridescence on a pitted surface from windblown sand. Some sand particles are still embedded in the specimen. Florescence's purple under wavelength 365 nm. ultraviolet light. Has sub-metallic luster and is shaped like a distorted "J". Origin: Victorio Mining district New Mexico. Comes with adjustable display stand and label as shown.
