This is a listing for unique petrified wood limb cast display cube that has been cut on 4 sides, allowing for the unique and intricate patterns that replaced this ancient wood void to be viewed. Once covered by volcanic ash, vivid red, orange, and purple minerals filled in the limb cast. I left the top and bottom natural so you can see the ancient crust.

Vivid purples are seen popping through this material, while orange, yellow, or red wisps and swirls of mineralization weave its way though this material.

I purchased the host material from a second generation rock store owner's family collection.

The cuts I made exposed these hidden colors and patterns, revealing natures art. These colorful minerals filed in a limb cast 100 million years ago.

This specimen is from Utah and was a tree when this area was partially covered when shallow sea covered the area and dinosaurs roamed the earth.
