Description Up for sale is a vintage L. T. Piver, Azurea Poudre Sachet Bottle. It is very tall at 6 inches and still contains a large amount of the sachet/potpourri. However, I think it has lost its scent due to its age. Azurea was introduced to the world in 1907, hence the Art Nouveau look of the label and this is a very vintage / antique scent or fragrance. The word Azurea is derived from the color: sky blue, hence the intense blue coloring of the flower on this label.- The clear glass bottle is a rectangular shaped bottle that is molded.
- The condition of the paper label is a bit worn but considering it could be around 100 years of age, it is pretty amazing.
- There is a brown paper label above the Azurea label which describes the net contents.
- Surprisingly, the neck label is in good condition and not torn off.
- To open this bottle, there is a glass flower like cap, that screws off, the last photo shows the cork inside the underside of the screw cap that someone must have replaced. The glass screw cap works well and has no damage.
- The backside of the bottle has a diamond shaped label, that is brown in color with green font. I have seen similar labels on other L.T.Piver products. In the center is a green thorny rose and perhaps this refers to the product symbol. This label is in good condition.
- The height of this bottle is about: 6 inches tall.
