VINTAGE - excellent condition

Gorgeous. Metropolitan Museum of Art (MMA) Trinket Box with removable lid.

The lid has a prehistoric bird engraved in the middle and the edges are dotted with small pattern. Eight sides, basically a rounded square. The 4 larger sides are each engraved with different flowers or plants. The 4 smaller sides all feature the same engraving of plants. Base is flat.

Measures 2.25\" tall from top of lid to bottom and 2\" across. Marked MMA at base. Silver plate on cast brass. Believed to be from early 1980\'s.
