~ Titanosaur ~

Titanosaurs (or titanosaurians; individuals from the gathering Titanosauria) were a different gathering of sauropod dinosaurs, including genera from each of the seven mainlands. The titanosaurs were the keep going enduring gathering of long-necked sauropods, with taxa as yet flourishing at the hour of the elimination occasion toward the finish of the Cretaceous. This gathering incorporates probably the biggest land creatures known to have at any point existed, like Patagotitan — assessed at 37 m (121 ft) long with a load of 69 tons (76 tons) — and the equivalently estimated Argentinosaurus and Puertasaurus from a similar district.

The gathering's name implies the fanciful Titans of old Greek folklore, by means of the sort family (presently viewed as a nomen dubium) Titanosaurus. Along with the brachiosaurids and family members, titanosaurs make up the bigger sauropod clade Titanosauriformes. Titanosaurs have for some time been an ineffectively known bunch, and the connections between titanosaur species are as yet not surely knew.

Titanosauria have the biggest scope of body size of any sauropod clade, and incorporates both the biggest known sauropods and the absolute littlest. Perhaps of the biggest titanosaur, Patagotitan, had a weight assessed to be 69 tons (76 tons), though one of the littlest, Magyarosaurus, had a weight of roughly 900 kilograms (2,000 lb). Indeed, even somewhat firmly related titanosaurs could have altogether different body sizes, as the little rinconsaurs were firmly connected with the massive lognkosaurs. Fossils from maybe the biggest dinosaur at any point found were found in 2021 in the Neuquén Province of northwest Patagonia, Argentina. It is accepted that they are from a titanosaur. The littlest titanosaurs, for example, Magyarosaurus, occupied Europe, which was generally comprised of islands during the Cretaceous, and were possible island midgets.
