Spode Red & Gold Medallions Green Leaves Yellow Tea Cup & Saucer C1800-1815 DNice bute form porcelain tea cup and saucer. Decorated with a yellow band with green laurel leaves and medallions with red and gold leaves. Gold gilding along the edge and gold leaf designs below. Unmarked. Attributed to Spode. Circa 1800 to 1815. Has crazing typical of British porcelain, wear to the gilding and wear consistent with age and use, and some staining, some small stacking flakes to the foot rim of the cup, and a 1 3/8 inch tight crack extending off the edge of the saucer.The cup measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/4 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.AU
