This is a set of two postcards from the Bart J Mitchell place near Westside Iowa in Crawford County. the show the damage to the Mitchell place after the May 1918 tornado, including the hog shed and cattle barn. The notes on the back would be very helpful for genealogists - This was Bart J. Mitchell\'s home; his daughter was Mary Helen, and her daughter was Vicki Beck. I always wonder how postcards get to dealers like myself in California - hope they can head home to Iowa or the family.Unposted but with writing on back. Cards have seen a lot of wear, price reflects condition.
