This RPPC was published by Cross & Dimmitt, pioneer photographers of Old Oregon who specialized in the Columbia River area during the 1920s. Their partnership began in 1921.This Fish Hatchery on the Columbia River Highway, opened in 1909 as Central Hatchery. Its one of Oregon's oldest and largest hatcheries. Chinook Salmon are raised here to supplement the wild population.
CONDITION: Excellent condition for age. Corners slightly rubbed, front shows slight signs album storage. Please check the condition of each item using the photo magnifier; zoom in and enlarge. All cards are original, vintage and/or antique unless otherwise noted. They have normal wear common to all old postcards. Every card is kept in a smoke-free environment.
