This sale is for an early 2000's NASA fabricated UAV/Drone from Langley Research Center in VA. The UAV airfraim was custom cut from aluminum tube and anodized aluminum plate sheets. Off the shelf RC electronics are installed onto the airframe, as well as a custom built Gimbal installed underneath.The UAV is actually a Y-frame TriCopter, with double motors aft and starboard, and a tilt rear motor for Yaw. A very unusual configuration, and with a bit of re-wiring and a thorough inspection and electronics system update could easily be revived back to life and flown.

This item was purchased and removed personally by me from Langley Research Center along with other items. There is a non itemized receipt From NASA for the items with pictures of this drone inside their facility before it was removed, available upon request if necessary.
