A classic globular form with fabulous scale and a wonderful design. very showy example by a known artist.(1916-1989) A potter from Tewa village actively fashioning pottery between 1960 and 1980, Evelyn Poolheco also signed her work Pootheco or Poothico according to Gregory Schaaf's book on Hopi-Tewa Pottery. She was Spider clan.An example of Poolheco's pottery is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Northern Arizona.
