Measuring approximately 8 1/2 x 11 inches and drawn on standard copy paper, this preliminary gag artwork features the work of acclaimed Playboy artist Doug Sneyd. The prelim is approved by Hugh Hefner himself, with his note and initials \"HMH\" in red pencil. It is a loose-style gag rough ultimately published in the July/August 2014 issue. Of note, Sneyd did not do many redheads in his cartoons. In excellent condition, it will be shipped with the utmost care. Please note- this is an actual, original piece of art drawn by hand by Sneyd. It is not a copy, print or pre-printed image. It is a one-of-a-kind original. Also initialed (signed) by Hefner! Also included with the artwork is the page removed from the magazine itself depicting the final, finished rendering of the cartoon. About Doug Sneyd:

Doug Sneyd began his career incommercial illustration before going freelance to work for a variety of book and magazine publishers. He also illustrated single-panel cartoons for theToronto Star, Canada\'s largest circulation newspaper (cartoons that were eventually syndicated throughout North America). In 1964, he began working for Playboyand hisgag strips have appeared in the magazine ever since. Throughout his career, he has contributed over 500 cartoons in all and became a favorite artist of Playboy readers.
