NOTE: THE FIGURE IN THE NICHO IS NOT FOR SALE,IT APPEARS ONLY TO PROVIDE CONTEXT OF THE SIZE OF THE is a small wooden nicho made in 1999 by award winning Spanish Market artist Alcario Otero. Made for me to display a small Spanish Colonial figure, which was subsequently sold.
The overall size is 11.25 H x 8 wide x 5.25 in. depth. It would comfortably display a figure or object of no more than 6 in. tall.
A beautiful example of the Santero craft skills of New Mexico revived in the late 20th c. by Santeros like Alcario Otero.
Anything you put in it will look more important - It's a great litlle piece!
