We are offering an 1860s Rare original CDV photograph of The Capitol Dome with the Statue of Freedom at the top. Photo was published by E. & H.T. Anthony, New York from Photographic Negative in Brady National Portrait Gallery. We assume the photograph was taken right after the statue was placed on the pedestal of the capitol's dome. **NOTE** - Edward and Henry Anthony, who had their studio in New York, had provided financial support to Mathew Brady to photograph the Civil War, and in return, Brady gave them all of his duplicate negatives.
