This listing is for a complete set of approx. 196 black-and-white 35mm negatives from the 1979 IFBB Canada Diamond Pro Cup. Most top names in the sport competed in this contest, including Larry Scott's comeback, Roy Callendar, Chris Dickerson, Boyer Coe and Dennis Tinerino.
These shots were taken by John Balik and are a full contest coverage of the event. There are 10 vintage contact sheets, most have an original copy and a duplicate with circles around respective images to be used for editorials - see gallery. The original negatives are also included, attached to the back of the proof sheets.
Protected for over four decades in archival sleeves, the negs are in excellent condition. The proof sheets have a little crinkling but are in very good condition overall. Each page has a glossy finish, with sharp and clear images of each exposure.
