Vintage 1900s Bulgarian Rose D’ Or Rose Oil Bottle Lot + Photos Ungerer & Co. NY

This is a set of medium and large size velvet covered metal rose oil bottles and two photos of from the Max Factor laboratories showing them using these exact type of bottles to make perfume.

While the company officially began in 1893, its birth was actually much earlier. William P. Ungerer, having spent over 20 training as a perfumer in France, planted the seed from which Ungerer & Company would flourish. Since inception, Ungerer & Company remains dedicated to the production and processing of essential oils, oleoresins and aroma chemicals.

I was told these came from the Max Factor archives. Although I have no proof of this the condition of the bottles are incredible. The plastic around I do not believe to be original but put on later to protect them. I didn’t want to take them off since they are protecting the integrity of the wax seals, the velvet/cloth packaging and the paper labels which look to be hand numbered on one.

This is a very special lot and I cannot find any record of any of these selling especially in this nice condition. Any questions please ask before offerding.
