Antique 19th French Lyon Silk Satin Brocade Blue and Gold VV666:

A gorgeous, lustrous heavy silk (probably Lyon silk), with a superb gold and copper colored design on a deep, midnight blue ground. It is seamed in the center as the fabric was only 18” wide selvage to selvage. Very old!
We have a few more fragments of this fabric if your project requires additional material.
The condition is very good for such an old, used silk length.It has some thread loss and a few breaks (see photos).
