Selling my extremely rare original Marilyn Monroe photograph taken by photographer Philippe Halsman. In excellent condition. Size 6x4 inch. Produced from the original negative or transparency. This came from noted Marilyn Monroe photographic preservationist George Zeno’s collection. My best guess is this was produced in the 70’s or 80’s.
Philippe Halsman asked all the starlets that were doing a shoot for Life Magazine to preform for his camera. He asked each of them to imagine they saw a monster, were drinking their favorite drink, and kissing a lover. This is the photo of Marilyn seeing a monster.
