IT’S IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THE BRIGHT SPOTS ON EITHER SIDE ARE FROM LIGHTING AND THEY ARE NOT IMPERFECTIONS.

This sign was purchased at a estate sale. The items that I was offerding on were mainly from the 1900 through 1950’s. On the bottom left corner of this sign (front side) it has printed in fine print “COPYRIGHT 1910 BY DE LAVAL SEPARATOR CO”. It’s a piece of history.

I have recently noticed a small marking on the bottom right side of the sign. (Front). The number on it is 1870. I find that interesting because the CREAM SEPARATOR along with other machines were developed in the 1870’s. Dr. Gustaf de Laval then went on to patent the “Centrifugal Cream Separator” in 1878, along with the other inventions he made.

This item was manufactured in an unknown location, however I believe it was produced in Canada or the USA.

The shipping cost may seem a little steep on this item. The reason is because I will package the sign in thick, reinforced cardboard, along with bubble wrap. Then all that is wrapped again with bubble wrap and boxed up for shipment. I do this with all signs that I ship to protect the integrity of the piece. Then, just in case anything happens the package is also insured for its value.
