This unique WW2 VT-7 Water Pitcher was crafted from silver and copper and features intricate engravings.

12" Tall

8" handle to spout.

Weight - 2lbs 13.5oz

Shipping weight is 5lbs with protective packing and box.

The engraving, "HOPPY AND WHITIE" "FROM THE OFFICERS OF TORPEDO SQUADRON SEVEN DECEMBER 20, 1945".

VT-7 was made up of  Grumman TBM Avengers and the squadron flew from USS Wasp and USS Hancock during the war (this is not an exhaustive history).

1946, VT was discontinued as a designation for US Navy air squadrons.
