WW2 Code Signal Flags With Oiginl Case. These flags were used like code talkers were used during the war. Each flag has 3 ties that secure them to their wooden handles. Newer flags are attached to the handles by a slip-on type of sleeve. They are dirty most likely from field use but still in very good condition. The green canvas bag is in very good condition. The seams are secure, and the green case has a shoulder strap, there are also several round metal eyeholes in the canvas. I am sure they were installed to help dry out the Flags. The lip that folds over the case has a piece of the leather strap missing. Overall, this is a great piece of military memorabilia.
