WATERFORD ~ Crystal NIGHTINGALE-BIRD w/Base (John Connolly, 1998) ~ Ireland

Description of item...Here we have a beautiful solid crystal NIGHTINGALE-BIRD figurine placed on a wood base, designed by John Connolly for THE WATERFORD COLLECTORS SOCIETY of Ireland in the \"Legends and Lore\" pattern. The one side retains it\'soriginal\"WATERFORD CRYSTAL ~ MADE IN IRELAND\" foil sticker, the bottom has three different marks: \"John Connolly ~ 2002\" Hand signature and date signed, \"1998 WS\" (Date made and Waterford Society) and \"Waterford\" mark..all etched.\" [NOTE: Wooden base has cutout made for figurine base which fits one way on the blue felt inlay.] It measures approx.5-1/2\" wing high (with base) x 5-1/4\" long x 3-1/2\" wing wide. It is in excellent maintained (displayed) condition with no damage noted. Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, this pattern is discontinued, production run 1996-2001. This 2-piece item weighs approx. 1-1/2 lbs., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
