The designs on the bedsprea are applique on the main piece are are called Katab. The design include Elephants. Birds, Trees of life, and various other African animals.
The colors are soft muted of two tones of stone washed of various colors.
The applique is done on s single layer of fabric. Applique is the art of layering small pieces of fabric cut various shapes on a base fabric.
This is a very ''rare'' piece! A great addition to your collection. Measure: 104'' x 82'' width
