Description You may be asking yourself a silly question, what do Jews & Synagogues have to do with Scientology? Tom Cruise? John Travolta?! I don't know! But this unusual book caught my attention and I have reason to believe that it's part of a Scientology conspiracy (I just love crazy conspiracy theories, don't you? :) ). I have no idea what, who, when or wear but I think someone who has done research on this topic should defintely take the hints in this booklet and call the proper people to find out what is going on here.

Here's the story. The title of this 36 page booklet is called SYNAGOGUE GUIDEBOOK : CONG. MIKVE ISRAEL - EMANUEL CURACAO 1654 . Printed in I assume 1975.
The guidebook describes,the Jewish community in Curacao, it's history, and Synagogue.

Now here's where it gets interesting...and a bit crazy. On the credits page, you have credits being given to a certain L. Ron Hubbard and a Rene Maduro. I have no idea who the latter is, but as far as I know there was no known Jewish L Ron Hubbard in the Jewish Community in Curacao! It simply is not a Jewish name! In addition, the booklet was produced by "OTC Ltd." The OTC is part of the organization of Scentology. OTC stands for Operation Transport Corporation, founded by L Ron Hubbard, which had accumulated millions of dollars of income, unreported as scientology income to the IRS. SO, here are questions people should be asking:

1) Was L Ron Hubbard Jewish or of Jewish parentage?
2)What was he doing in this part of the world? Setting up a tax haven perhaps? Maybe it's still there?
3)Maybe this is just another crazy conspiracy theory? (And I'm just as crazy for even thinking this!)
