The Scream Box Plus uses a USB to Micro USB cable (included) to add your MP3 sounds. If you are using Batteries, only use NEW high quality AAA batteries such as duracell or energizer(They last a month or longer).Use 3NEWAAA Alkaline Batteries only (not included). Do not use rechargeable batteries. Do not use old batteries.Replace your batteries when:1. The Scream Box only plays part of a sound or has static.2. The Scream Box sensor stops working, but pushing the buttons activate it.3. The Scream Box LED Light starts flickering while playing a sound.4. The Scream Box makes a pop noise and then does not turn ON.
For areas with limited space, you can make a Blinder so the sensor will be less sensitive and can focus on small areas (see pictures).
If you do not want to use Batteries, you can use a 5v 1a USB charger (not included) with the Micro USB cable (included). YOU MUST REMOVE THE BATTERIES BEFORE USING THE 5v 1a charger! You can only use the internal speaker. The amplifier does NOT work with the 5v 1a charger.

SCREAM BOX IDEA UPDATES:NEW Megaphone ideas for the Scream Box. Get black poster board and roll it up into a Megaphone and tape it until it is secure. Then put the Scream Box into the Megaphone and push it into the narrow part until you have a tight fit so the Scream Box does not move (See 6th Picture). Last, put the Megaphone on a pole so it is at ear level. You will have to tweak the Megaphone until you get the Sensor to trigger at the correct time. You can also hang the Megaphone from the ceiling (8 to 10 feet off the ground) pointing straight down in a dark room. When a guest walks under the Megaphone/Scream Box, the sensor will trigger (no tweaking needed for this idea). Putting your Scream Box in a Megaphone protects it from the weather, focuses the sensor to a smaller walking area, and makes the Scream Box even louder.

A customer told us that if you are using your Scream Box outside for a long period of time, put it in a zip lock bag and it works great. LED strobe light is waterproof.Scream Box is not waterproof and is best to use it INDOORS!
