The unit for sale is a reproduction of the BA-4 Dry Cell (1.5 Volts) originally produced by General Dry Batteries, Inc. (among others) for use in U. S. Signal Corps WW-1 era radio equipment (e.g., SCR-54 Radio Receiver). A complete listing of all Signal Corps radio equipment requiring the BA-4 is included on the reverse of the repro \"imaginary\" label.

The reproduction requiring one C-Cell battery (not included) when stacked on the conductive spacer (included) provides 1.5 volts which is nominally consistent with the original BA-4.Due to the lack of availability of an original image, label graphicsare based on logical assumptions and facts published by the U. S. Signal Corps. Dimensions (3”H X 1-5/16” Dia.) and weight (4.2 oz., w/C-Cell) are nominally consistent with the originalbatterymanufactured by General Dry Batteries, Inc. The Olive Drab (OD) color of the label is thought to be very close to that used on military equipment used in the WW-1 era.
