Rotate knob to smoothly dim any 12v DC powered LED lighting such as Kick Lighting's Kick-Flex. Clicks to off position. Fully assembled and ready to use -- not a kit. Simply open the wire block connectors, cut the 2 wires which connect your LED lighting to 12vDC, strip both pairs of positive and negative wires and insert them into the block. The Lighting Research Center at Ressaelear Polytechnic Institute recommends PWM dimming for the control of LED lighting because it avoids voltage drop and chromacity shift which are associated with other methods of dimming. Voltage is maintained but pulsed rapidly with no visible flicker even at the lowest levels. Dimming in this way can extend the life of LEDs and reduces power usage even further.
