Approximately 25 years ago I purchased a collection of (12) prison knives/shanks from the estate of a retired prison guard.

I plan to sell one at a time.

The guard was from MICHIGAN…moved to Florida…..passed…..and his wife sold his stuff.

Every knife is different.

Based on the guards age…. My guess is that the knives date to the 1950’s-1960’s.

This particular knife ……is number (2) and appears to be made from a file or similar

piece of iron. these knives were made without the use of regular tools. Therefore, they all appear crude with scratches….discoloration

…and dings. sale is for one knife. (#2)

Picture #(3) shows the collection….however, only (#2) is part of this sale.
