Sale for one (1) US Marine Corps OKC-3S Bayonet/Combat Knife with Scabbard in military issue wrap as shown in photos for saleThis is a Genuine Issue Ontario Knife Company (OKC) Marine Bayonet carried by the MarinesGenuine USMC issue, lettering is "stamped" on tang below handguard,Important: These are genuine, have the stamped "OKC 3S Ontario Knife Co" on one side and "Combat USMC" on the blade just under the handguard. The commercial repros and some import fake counterfeits have screen printed or painted on lettering so keep your eye on the details if that'simportant to you. There may be minor finish scratches/smudges from the bayonet scabbard retainer spring this is natural as all military knives/bayonets.
The packaging may show signs of depot scuff/shelf wear, some differences in the labels depending on contract year/lot. see photos. They come as shown, the military did not use individual boxes for the OKC-3S!

The Ontario Marine Bayonet knife features an 8" clip point blade made of proprietary carbon steel with a Rockwell hardness of 53-58.

The blade dimensions are approximately.200 inches thick and 1 3/8" wide, with a 1 3/4" Serration section, sharpened top swedge, and non-reflective black phosphate coat.

The brown Dynaflex rubber handle is ergonomically grooved to reduce hand fatigue, with a positioning access point for quick redirect of the blade position in reduced visibility situations. The handle has an oval indentation with USMC on one side, and the Marine Corps logo on the other.

The low noise multi-carry scabbard is made of brown molded polyester elastomer, with a ceramic coated aluminum honing rod on the back.

The bayonet is held securely inside the scabbard by friction blade spring.

The scabbard is equipped with two load bearing attaching straps with cross straps, which allows for multiple carry options. The brown handle, sheath and webbing are compatible with the digital desert camo colors.

Overall length of the Marine Bayonet knife is 13 1/4", weight is 1.4 pounds.
