I own a specialty advertising company, now in our 45th year in business. For much of that time as well for many years prior to establishing my own company, what was formerly "The Bell System" was our best account. After divestiture and it was broken up, we continued doing business with Southern Bell, BellSouth, OFS, Lucent Technologies, Avaya, etc.Over the years I collected a great deal of items with all of the above logos / many one-of-a-kind samples. We are now semi-retired and selling some of our collection.Here is a very nice assorted selection of over-run items of things I sold Lucent Technologies in the late 1990's and early 2000's. At the time Lucent was among our best clients. In fact, I did a self-funded stocking program of various Lucent imprinted gifts so I could make instant delivery - as was often needed.
And this is what the fortunate buyer will receive:* We sold Lucent a wide selection of insulated drinkware. This large insulated non-pill mug is in red with the white Lucent logo on both sides. Sealable straw top and useful. U.S.A. made.* Red Koozie with white logo on both sides. U.S.A. made.* We supplied many promotional gifts for various sporting events. Here is a sports towel, size 24" x 17" with fringed ends, top grommet and brass hook. The two color Lucent logo is screened. The towel is by Cannon, and U.S.A. made.* Earth stress ball with logo in white in the Pacific Ocean area. U.S.A. made.* Jar gripper in red with black logo. U.S.A. made.* Pair of eyeglass straps or show strings in white with the repeating Lucent logo. Also U.S.A. made.* Pen with white Lucent and Anixter logo. Anixter was a very good customer of Lucent. U.S.A. made. If used rather than displayed, a new refill is needed, which are readily available.* Robot calculator. When you touch a button, the top articulates around to set the calculator up. Very cool. (A female customer use to call these "Robot Calculators" her "Viagra Calculator"! I installed a new battery, so you are good to go...* Jewelry diamond desk clock. This beautiful timepiece is in clear acrylic with a brushed gold aluminum face and the logo in two colors - red & black. It tells day, date, and time. I installed a new battery. Gift boxed with instructions.* Lucent's Atlanta Works once had a safety program with four "teams" Each team had a color code, red, green, burgundy and blue. We supplied pendants for each "team", and here is an over-run sample of each.the size is 18" x 8". U.S.A. made.* Golfers ditty bag in green with white logo. Clip attachment and zipper closure. One of the few items we sold Lucent that was in green - green because of the golf association. Made in the U.S.A.* Name plate in plastic. The size is 11" x 2.5" in white with the two color logo. The area to the right side is where we would engrave the individual name. These were used for both doors to private offices as well as for desk name plates. U.S.A. made, and we engraved names in house.* And I saved perhaps the most useful item until last - this striking tote bag. The bag is in a heavyweight vinyl lined material. The size is 17" x 10" x 5.5", and features include: snap closure front and back pockets, zippered inside pouch, zippered top closure and full size handle straps. In off-white with the two color Lucent logo screened on the front.
All were either from our stocking inventory or over-run samples from orders sold Lucent. All are in as new condition and never used. Stored in sealed containers in one of our climate controlled sample rooms.
Interestingly, most of this product assortment was manufactured in the U.S.A.!!!
