This is a nice specimen of a Koneprusia trilobite fossil from Morocco. It has been expertly prepared to have freestanding spines.

There are tiny repaired cracks throughout the trilobite as you could see in the Uv light pictures. From my inspection, I believe there is no more than 2% restoration, most likely less. Spines usually have to be reglued as they might break off during prep.

Length of trilobite: approximately 1.45 inches (3.68 cm) with spines
