A rare set of eleven 17" x 14" prints with original Itek envelope and Introduction paper. These are Large prints!
The prints in this portfolio are 6th generation duplicates and some of the small detail found in the original film has been lost in the duplication process. Duplicate copies were made of the original film by NASA. These master positives were then used to make a number of duplicate film negatives. Itek received one of these 3rd generation negatives. Printed via standard lithographic techniques using two black (duotone) impressions using Itek Type II N lithographic plates. All the original film from Apollo 15 has been placed in archival storage.
