Classic Ship - Vintage 8x10 Photograph - Delta Lines SS Santa Paula 1980\'s. The former Philippine Mailwas converted tocontainershipin 1971, renamed President Eisenhower in 1975 for APL, thenpurchase by Crowley Delta Lines and re-namedSanta Paulain 1983. She was thensold with the South American service to the revived USL and namedAmerican Bankerin 1985. This is a unique photo of her first voyage as Santa Paula repositioning from the US West Coast with mostly empty Containers into Philadelphia, which would be her first port of call southbound to the West Coast of South America. Photo taken prior to the installation of a stern pedestal crane. Her short-lived career with Delta is captured here. See later would be turned into the Reserve Fleet by USL and re-worked into Crane Ship Equality State until 2019, when she was sent for disposal to Beaumont Texas.Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
