This is a scarce "Season's Greetings" postcard featuring Daniel's Tomb at Shush, revered by Moslems, Jews and Christians, principal shrine in Iran common to these three religions. The reverse shows the medallion between the American and Russian soldiers and explains the insignia and history and countries involved. This card was printed in the Middle East OTI, and was sent APO US Army Postal Service in 1943 from the Persian Gulf. Names on card include Sgt. Limbaugh, Myrtle Limbaugh in MO, and Lt PJ Norton.
Posted. Both lower corners are creased, plus other corner and edge wear. There is a long line mark along the left edge of the card, please see photos. Some faint creasing or bends along the center of the card. The card is not as yellow as the first listing image shows.
