I own an advertising specialty company - now in our 45th year I am happy to report - and worked in the industry for many years prior to establishing my own firm. We are now semi-retired and I am selling many of our unusual advertising samples via .
In the late 1970's and through the 1980's the Atlanta Gas Light Company was a very good customer. We sold them a wide assortment of advertising goods, and here is are three different over-run salesman pen samples from that period.

Here is what the fortunate buyer will receive:* Sheaffer was and still is one of our better suppliers of writing instruments. The first example is their No Nonsense felt tip marker pen. It is in white with the logo in blue, and still in original Sheaffer gift box. U.S.A. made.* The other Sheaffer example is of their "Reminder Clip" pen. It was called this because in order to put it in your pocket, the tip had to be withdrawn. In blue with silver imprint. U.S.A. made.* Garland was an outstanding supplier of better writing instruments. Here is their pen and mechanical pencil set. The Atlanta Gas Light logo is on the top of each instrument under a protective clear Mylar material. Garland offered a lifetime warranty, but unfortunately they are no longer in business. Their quality was very high and they could not be competitive with cheaper imports. The acrylic logo cover is a bit cloudy - as normal after so many years. U.S.A. made.
As noted, all instruments were made in the U.S.A.!!! Of course, as these retain their original refills, if used rather than displayed, new refills are needed - which are ready available.
All were salesman over-run samples, never used.
An excellent addition for a current or former employee or for someone who collects such memorabilia. A very rare find for sure.
