Here is a wonderful clock, the movement needs gone over, one minute it works then it doesnt wanna run, so I am sure it needs cleaned up and should be fine, we will call it not working at this point . the only issues are I see that on the door on the back there is tiny crack in glass I showed this in a picture upper left corner, not easily noticable. the finish is muted not shiny, I wonder oif someone used some rub and buff on it at one point or perhaps this is how the finish gets over time , again please look at the pictures they are part of the description they are highly detailed , the clock does not have a key . Here is basic description of the modelCrown Crystal Regulator: 8 day time with half hour gong striking movement. The visible escapement is on a 4in dial. It has a 2 tube pendulum with simulated mercury fills, "crown" model, having beveled glass door, sides and back. Porcelainized dial with Arabic numerals, Victorian scroll feet, vasiform crest.
