These self-adhesive cork gaskets don’t fall out and yet are removable.

They fit Aladdin glass lamp fuel filler caps made from 1935 to present.

Dimensions: 1” diameter, 1/16” thick. Replaces Aladdin N120CG but won’t set you back $3 each plus shipping.

I’m an Aladdin collector. I hate it when I unscrew the fuel fill cap from a working non-display lamp, and the cork falls out of the cap. Or worse, the cork sticks to the cap threads and then breaks when peel it off.

These cork gaskets won’t give you that problem. They peel off the backing strip easily. They self-center when inserted into the cap. And they really stick.

Yet, they are easily removed. Just heat the top of the cap with a very hot hair dryer or heat gun and pry out with a sharp, pointed tool. When I do this, I heat the cap hot. I wore a glove to not burn my fingers.
