By comtrast, if you use T-Mobile or Verizon, you are more likely required to changet TTL. Changing TTL could be an overwelming piece of work if you are not technical. Since you are not required to change TTL, AT&T is the perfect for easy installation.
Q: How fast is the speed?A: The speed depends on the device you are using and your location (the proximity to an AT&T tower). If you are close to an AT&T tower, you may get a speed of more than 100Mbps. If you are far from an AT&T tower, or if there is obstruction, you may get a speed of lower than 10Mbps.
Q: How fast is video streaming?A: While Speedtest by Ookla measures the normal speed, fast.com measures video streaming speed. In an area with strong AT&T signal, our actual testing yields a video streaming speed of more than 40Mbps (4K UHD). Speedtest by Ookla test result is 230Mbps at the same location. The tests are performed using a Netgear MR5100.
Q: Will I get the same fast speed?A: You may or may not. The speed depends on your location and device. Whie adevice may run at 200Mbps in a location with good signal, the same device may run as slow as 1/10 of the speed in a remote locaiton with weak signal.There are devices that sell for around $70 (Cat4 modem, e.g. ZTE MF279). Q: Do I pay you (the seller) or do I pay AT&T?A: The plan owner is a business entity. You will pay the business entity instead of paying AT&T. It is similar to a family plan except the owner is a business entity instead of an individual person. We, as a business entity, manage the AT&T account for all the lines.
Q: How do I make payments for the service?
A: We'll send you a bill through bill.com. You can view the bill and make payment on bill.com website. When your payment becomes due, you will receive the bill in the e-mail 10 days before the due date. If you wish to cancel service, you have 7 days do it, as the bill will be paid 3 days in advance. bill.com is free to the buyer if buyer makes payment using ACH. Buyer can also use a credit card (3% transaction fee) to make a payment.
Q: Can I make monthly payments using PayPal?
A: If you use PayPal to make monthly payment, you will lose the autopay discount. You price will be $40 each month.
