This is for two (2) Crystal figurines - the common release and the RARE limited edition release WITH ERROR.

Both are from 1999 and Priscilla Hillman is the artist. Both have the phrase “Hang On! We’re In For A Wonderful Ride”

Both are hand numbered. But beginning in September of 1998 Enesco released their first RARE bears. The idea was to make collecting a little more fun, by having some of the released bears be a little different and “more rare” than their non-rare counterparts.

Crystal was released in Spring, 1999 as part of the second set of carousel bears. The rare version of Crystal has a unicorn with a different stance, gold, painted wings, hooves and horn, and Australian crystals as decoration. The rare crystal bear has gold wings instead of white wings, and Australian crystals adorning her head. Some rare crystals have an error understand where the under stamp was stamped in regular brown ink instead of the gold ink. This factory crafting error was later corrected.

This rare version has the error - the under stamp was stamped in brown ink instead of gold ink - which I believe makes this RARE one even more rare and valuable.

The common Crystal comes with the box while the Rare Crystal does not. I will ship the Rare Crystal in the box to provide the best protection - and will securely pack the common Crystal in another box.
