Listed are authentic NASA early mission patches in chronological order. These are rare patches that were given to the Astronauts for the mission from Kennedy Space Center. Not many were made. Highly valuable! For the serious collector! Patches are as follows:

Shuttle Program- 1980\'s Official Space Shuttle Patch

Columbia STS-1 (April 12, 1981) - First Columbia flight. First Reusable orbital spacecraft flight.

Columbia STS-2 (November 12, 1981) - First reuse of a manned orbital Space Vehicle

Columbia STS-3 (March 22, 1982) - First and only landing at White Sands, NM. Shuttle R and D flight

Columbia STS-4 (June 27, 1982) - First Department of Defense (DOD) payload.

Columbia STS-5 (November 11, 1982) - First Extravehicular activity of Program canceled due to suit problems.

Challenger STS-6 (April 4, 1983) - First Flight of Challenger

Challenger STS-7 (June 18, 1983) - First American Woman in Space, Sally Ride. First deployment and retrieval of a Shuttle pallet Satellite.

Challenger STS-8 (August 30, 1983) - First flight of an African American in Space, Guion Bluford. First Night Landing.

Columbia STS-9 (November 28, 1983) - First Spacelab Mission.

Challenger STS-41B (February 3, 1984) - First untethered spacewalk by Bruce McCandless II with Manned maneuvering Unit. First landing at Kennedy Space Center (KSC).

Challenger STS-41C (April 6, 1984) - Solar Maximum Mission servicing (First satellite rescue by Astronauts)

Discovery STS-41D (August 30, 1984) - First Flight of Discovery. Test of OAST-1 Solar Array.
