This listing is for a 1940S CARDIOTRON Portable ECG EKG Machine Rare Vtg Medical Device TURNS ON. It is marked Model PC-1A on its plate. It is a Vintage ECG/EKG Machine Made by "Electro-Physical Laboratories, Inc.” in New York. I have turned it on, and it lights up, and starts spitting out its paper roll & recording. I have not extensively tested it. This rare item would make a great display piece for any Doctor or medical enthusiast, or perhaps a prop for a medical or science fiction movie. One of these Great machines can be seen online on the website of the "Edward Hand Medical Heritage Foundation; Preserving The History of The Healing Arts”. They date these machines from about the 1940's. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor

It is in good condition, with no major damage. It powers on when plugged in, and when put into “record” function briefly, the paper does roll out & the needle moves. Due to a lack of the full add ons, and technical know how, I have not extensively tested it, mainly just turned it on and off. Comes as is, largely untested. Buyer assumes all responsibility for their operation of this unit. Some screws are missing, but could be easily replaced. As far as I know no body components beyond screws are missing. It needs a portion of its attachments , which I do not have. Case has typical wear, and one loose but glue-able area of the lid. Cords have some age to them, and crackle when overly moved around, but still function fine. No major missing chunks off the major cords. See photos for details.
