Vintage Advertising Frolie Fortune Telling Calendar 1901, American Cereal Co. Chicago, copyright 1900. Square 5-3/4" x 5-11/16". Full color pictorial card wrappers with just a slight hint of wear to the edges on cover. 28 pages including covers. This calender was a promotion from the American Cereal Co. advertising Quaker Oats brand cereal. There is a full page color illustration for each month of the year representing the zodiac sign for each month. The center pages include a fortune telling aspect to this calendar that can answer various questions regarding life questions suggested. Directions for use are included on center page. Bound together with red yarn tie and staples. The illustrations a lush, a great piece of ephemera and in incredible condition. Special. Will ship in archival bag for ongoing preservation.
