This is a rare c.1969 SM9 custom-ordered Olympia typewriter with the italic "Script" typeface, Font. no. 69! This typeface is similar to Olympia typewriter's "Cursive" typeface but the Script typeface is a tighter more muscular and modern font that can be used for business or personal correspondence. The SM9 was the culmination of all of Olympia's technical innovations as modernized technology caught up with typewriting manufacturing. It's lighter shift movements make the SM9 the top of the line for typewriter use. Combined here with one of the most outstanding typefaces, you have a perfect machine for every sort of use.
