WALDOW ~ Early 5-Pc Quality Copper 1 Qt. MARMITE w/WARMING STAND & FUEL CUP ~ Brooklyn, NY

Description of item...Here we have a wonderful (and not easily found) early5-piece quality copper tin lined MARMITE cooking container with a LID, WARMING STAND and LIDDED FUEL CUP - made by WALDOW of Brooklyn,NY. (the bottom pot is marked, "WALDOW ~ BKLYN, N.Y.)NOTE: This casserole container has solid brass handles and lid knob. Can be used on direct heat or in the oven - for stews, sauces or soup. To keep hot for buffets, use the brass and copper stand with lamp/fuel cup (for stereo canned cooking fuel.) It measures approx. 9-1/4" high x 5-1/2" in diameter (add 7/8" for each side handle), can hold up to 1 quart (4 cups.)All pieces are in great maintained (barely/hardly used) condition with no dings or dents, no damage noted...appearing to have had very minimal use, if any at all. They have not been polished since acquired as they show a nice aged patina and luster, and is being offered in "as found" condition. There is no tin lining loss, tin is shiny.Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1970-80's. This item weighs approx. 3 lbs., add 2-1/2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
