and, thank you for stopping by to look at this Stanley Bailey Number 4-1/2 Smooth Bottom Bench Plane.
The plane has scratches, dings, discoloration, light japanning loss, light pitting on the sole/sides, and other metal parts. This is a type 18.
The tote, and front knob look fine. Both handles have wear middle.
The plane could use a little more light cleaning.
Please look over the photos carefully.
I do not see any defects, repairs or cracks. All moving parts work. Lightly cleaned, and oiled.
