This is an original handmade Hattori fixed blade hunting knife, dating back to circa 1970s. Stored in the Hattori factory archives for decades, this highly collectible knife was only recently made available. Ichiro Hattori is one of the most widely known of master knifemakers of Seki, Japan, producing knives for Kershaw, Browning, Fallkniven, Cold Steel and others. Being an early production in new old stock condition, this is an extremely rare knife to find! Collectible, yet designed to use. It features an integral 1/8" thick high carbon stainless blade (AUS-8 or ATS-34) and hardwood handle, with a black nylon sheath, in Hattori box.
