On offer is a vintage World War II-era W.A.V.E.S U.S. Navy Garrison Cap.

This was the garrison cap worn by my mother during the war when she served as a W.A.V.E. The cap is in EXCELLENT condition, with no moth holes, tears, rips or stains. The only condition issue is that there is some makeup residue at the front of the cap, but I didn’t have the heart to try to wash it out.

I have included a picture of my mom wearing the cap while she was on active duty in the ‘40s. The photo is not part of the sale (though you could just copy it from this post, right?)

The interior tag reads “Made and Sold Under Authority of U.S. Navy W.A.V.E.S”.

All photos are of the actual item being offered for sale, not stock photos. This vintage W.A.V.E. cap is from my private collection in a non-smoking environment. Great bargain!
