For your consideration a pair of vintage silhouettes featuring a courting couple in black silhouette with mirror background. The image measure approximately 3-1/4" x 3-1/4". The wooded painted silver frames increase the overall size to approximately 4-3/4" x 4-3/4". This pair of silhouettes was made to go together. The one with the lady on the swing is called "The Courtship". The back reads: "Pair with Proposal, Painted on Glass, Deltex Products Co. , Brooklyn, N.Y." . The other silhouette is titled "The Proposal"and the back reads: "The Proposal" Painted on Glass, Deltex Products Co. , Brooklyn, N.Y.". The images on the g lass are excellent with no chips or cracks. The frame on "The Courtship" appears to have been cracked and repaired.
