Excellent vintage Italian spina christi seed bead rosary that has a "terra catacombe" relic reliquary crucifix. The crucifix is silver tone metal and inside it has a piece of soil from the catacombs in Rome. On the back it is marked Roma and Italy. The centerpiece has a profile of the Virgin Mary on one side and Jesus on the reverse. The metal parts of this rosary have patina from age but no rust. It is in very good condition, no missing or broken seeds. The relic is intact as is the little screw closure. The hinge opens freely when the screw is removed. Thanks for looking!
