Great condition vintage rain lamp. No major damage dents, dings, cracks, or holes. Some finish wear from age and use. Paint chips and nicks as shown in photos.

This awesome rain lamp has been gone through top to bottom. The lamp was completely disassembled and thoroughly cleaned. Getting rid of all the old oil residue from inside the base and exterior of the lamp. All of the faux foliage was cleaned as well. There were several large areas of the top and bottom that were bare steel from the factory. These area's were treated and coated with professional grade Rust oleum to protect them and keep the areas from rusting. The lamp was completely restrung with the new filament. The boy & girl figurine was re-attached using 3M double-sided tape. A brand new pump was installed along with all new hoses. All of the wiring was replaced, connections were soldered, and a new 15' chain was installed. The center section has been repainted, and even a new light bulb was installed. I wanted to retain the original finish so there are some paint chips. There were some areas that had a little larger sections of paint missing. These areas were lightly touched up to cover the bare metal and blend in with the original finish as much as possible. The install hardware from the chain kit is included with the lamp.

Included in the hardware kit is an inline on/off switch. The lamp currently works by plugging and unplugging the power cord. You can also use an outlet that is controlled by a wall switch in your home. If you would like the inline switch installed before your lamp ships, please send me a message before you pay for the lamp. This is so I can get the switch installed right away and still get the lamp shipped out on time for you.

Your new rain lamp ships dry. There is no oil included. Oil will need to be added before your new lamp is used. I will gladly make recommendations if needed, where you can easily purchase the correct oil to get your lamp flowing beautifully and ensure it lasts a long, long time. This is a pretty large lamp and will require a decent amount of oil. I recommend purchasing a 64 oz. kit of Drakeol 35. This is the original type of mineral oil used in rain lamps.
