This listing is for a Vintage Nice Figural Irish Setter Hunting Dog Desk WORKING Lamp On Base. It has s great art deco style to it, appearing to be made of some kind of pressed wood (NOT the low quality variety commonly found in bookends and ashtrays- this is a nicer material of quality manufacture) on a wood base. I believe it was made in the early to mid 1940s, but it could be late 1930s or very early 1950s. It is not marked by a maker or model number. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of styles of decor. Great for collectors, display/ decor, gifting, and more.

It is in good condition, with no major damage to the lamp itself. It has some crackling to the finish on the base, but it adds a pleasing patina in my opinion. It is fully working, though I have not left it on for more than a few hours at a time. Comes decently tested. The shade does have a tear in the back, which is easily missed when it faces towards a wall. The shade could be replaced or just taped/ repaired to the buyers preference. I include it because I believe it is original and besides this few inch long tear it is in nice shape.
